What is here
Every chapter of the Bhaibheri Dzvene in Shona, with the King James beside any verse. Every hymn from six Zimbabwean hymnals, stanza by stanza. Eleven topics of gathered verses, and 2,622 Bible names with their meanings. All of it free to read, with nothing to sign up for.
Which versions are on the web
The site publishes the Shona text and the King James, which is in the public domain. The app carries five more English versions (NIV, NKJV, AMP, NET and BBE) that are not ours to republish here.
The SDA hymnal
The Adventist book is printed in five languages. The web shows one sheet per hymn, Shona where a Shona sheet exists and Venda or Tonga for the numbers that were never printed in Shona. The app carries all five and lets you pick the one you sing from.
Hymn texts and corrections
Hymn texts are reproduced from church hymnals so congregations can find the words they already sing. If something is wrong, or if you hold rights in a text and would like it removed, write to us and we will act on it.
