farai patariro; tsungirirai pakutambudzika; rambai muchinyengetera;

Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;

Zvino ngatirege kuneta pakuita zvakanaka, nokuti tinozocheka nenguva yakafanira, kana tisingavori moyo.

And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Naizvozvo, savasanangurwa vaMwari, vatsvene navanodikanwa, fukai moyo unetsitsi, nomoyo munyoro, nokusazvikudza, novunyoro, nomoyo murefu;

Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Nemi vo tsungirirai; simbisai moyo yenyu, nokuti kuvuya kwaShe kwava pedo,

Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
