Namazuva iwayo Jesu wakabva Nazareta muGarirea, akabhabhatidzwa naJohane muJoridhani.And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.
Pakarepo achibuda mumvura wakavona denga rakazarurwa noMweya uchiburuka pamusoro pake senjiva.And straightway coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit like a dove descending upon him:
Inzwi rikabva kudenga richiti, Ndiwe Mwanakomana wangu unodikamwa, wandinofarira.And there came a voice from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Pakarepo Mweya wakamubudisira kurenje.And immediately the Spirit driveth him into the wilderness.

Jesu akati kwavari: Nditeverei, kuti ndikuitei vabati vavanhu.And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
Vakasiya vutava bwavo pakarepo, vakamutevera.And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.

Vakashamiswa nedzidziso yake nokuti wakavadzidzisa sounesimba, asingaiti savanyori.And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
Zvino musinagoge ravo makanga munomunhu wakanga anomweya wetsvina. WakadanidziraAnd there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; and he cried out,
achiti, tinemhaka yeiko nemi, Jesu weNazareta? Mavuya kuzotiparadza kanhi? Ndinokuzivai kuti ndimi ani, muri Mutsvene waMwari.Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God.
Zvino Jesu akamuraira akati, nyarara ubude kwaari!And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him.
Mweya wetsvina ukamubvundisa, ndokudanidzira nenzwi guru, ndokubuda kwaari.And when the unclean spirit had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.
Vakashamiswa vose,zvikuru kudai kuti vakavhunzana pakati pavo,vachiti, Chinyiko ichi? dzidziso iyi itswa ndeyeiko?nokuti une simba rokuraira kunyange,mweya yakaipa,huye inomuterera.And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commandeth he even the unclean spirits, and they do obey him.
Pakarepo mukurumbira wake ukanzwikwa panyika yose yakapoteredza Garirea.And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.
Pakarepo vakati vachibva musinagoge, vakapinda mumba maSimoni naAndrea, Jakobho naJohane vanavo.And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

Akabudisa mweya yakaipa mizhinji; asi wakanga asingatenderi mweya yakaipa kutaura, nokuti yakanga ichimuziva.And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.
Mangwanani kuchinerima, wakamuka akabuda akaenda kunzvimbo murenje,akandonyengeterapo.And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.
Simoni navakanga vanaye vakamutevera.And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.
Vakamuwana vakati kwaari, vose vanokutsvakai.And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for thee.

Pakarepo achangotaura maperembudzi akabva kwaari, akanatswa.And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

Akati kwaari, chenjera kuti urege kuvudza munhu chinhu asi enda uzviratidze kumuPirisita ubayire pamusoro pokunatswa kwako zvakarairwa naMosesi chive chapupu kwavari.And saith unto him, See thou say nothing to any man: but go thy way, shew thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.
Asi iye wakabuda akatanga kuzvivudza vanhu vazhinji nokuparidza shoko iro nokudaro Jesu wakanga asingagoni kupinda muguta pachena asi wakanga ari kunze panzvimbo murenje. Vakavuya kwaari vachibva kumativi ose.But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.
