Kutya kukawira vose vakanga vagere navo; namashoko iwayo ose akanzwika kunyika yose yamakomo eJudhea.And fear came on all that dwelt round about them: and all these sayings were noised abroad throughout all the hill country of Judaea.

Novutsvene nokururama pamberi pake mazuva edu ose.In holiness and righteousness before him, all the days of our life.
Iwe, Mwana, uchanzi muporofita woWokumusoro-soro, Nokuti iwe uchatungamira pamberi paShe, kumugadzirira nzira dzake;And thou, child, shalt be called the prophet of the Highest: for thou shalt go before the face of the Lord to prepare his ways;
Kuzivisa vanhu vake nzira yokuponeswa nayo, Vachikanganwirwa zvivi zvavo.To give knowledge of salvation unto his people by the remission of their sins,
Nomoyo munyoro waMwari wedu, Uchatishanyira namambakwedza okudenga,Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us,
Kuvhenekera vagere murima nomumvuri worufu; Nokururamisa tsoka dzedu munzira yorugare.To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Mwana akakura, akasimba mumweya, akagara mumarenje, kusvikira zuva rokuratidzwa kwake kuvaIsraeri.And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel.
